Description:
After a gap of several years, Fife Opera is delighted to be performing again at the Edinburgh New Town Church. Members of this highly acclaimed opera company bring you a semi-staged performance of Purcell’s one-act opera Dido and Aeneas led by musical director Derek Clark who will accompany the singers on harpsichord continuo along with a string quintet. The opera includes the famous Dido’s Lament.
