Description:
Two unique works by Scotland-based performers exploring African history, culture and artistry. The legend of King Bantu by Rudy Mbunzama follows a young Congolese prince born with extraordinary powers. As he grows up he starts to experience something powerful within him – something beyond him that wants to come out. Stories from the South by Laura Mathana and Chinyanta Kabaso weaves dance and spoken word to illuminate the history of African migration, amplifying the stories, struggles and triumphs.
