Into its fourth decade of performances on the Fringe and in the superb setting of The New Town Church (formerly St Andrew’s and St George’s West), Fife-based vocal concert group Ensemble is delighted to build on last year’s concert and devote the whole programme to Stephen Sondheim. With excerpts from Into the Woods, Sweeney Todd, A Little Night Music and others, Ensemble aims to show why, according to Barack Obama, Sondheim 'reinvented the American musical'.
